I take an active role in keeping informed about any developments in my practice areas. I am a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. In the Chicago Bar Association, I am a member of the Bankruptcy Committee.

I attend seminars and meetings about any recent developments in the areas of law I practice in. I also attend seminars just to sharpen my skills as a lawyer. Some recent legal education seminars I have participated in include: Federal Trial Bar Course, Bankruptcy Update seminars (several), Real Estate Closings: an intimate look, Perspectives on Foreclosure-Real Estate Law. Complex Bankruptcy Issues (several), Cook County Mandatory Arbitration training, Distressed Businesses and Bankruptcy Solutions, Taxes and Bankruptcy.

I am keeping informed about any changes to the Bankruptcy Laws that may come soon. I will be attending seminars to keep my clients informed about how the changes affect them.
